TrendyPhone keeps the Customer’s personal data for the duration of the customer relationship and for six years after the customer relationship has ended. The information is used e.g. for handling possible complaints and warranty issues. Handling and fulfilling the obligations set out in legislation such as accounting and consumer trade legislation require that some personal data be stored even if the customer contract has ended. TrendyPhone takes reasonable measures to ensure that personal data incompatible with the purpose of processing personal data, outdated or incorrect is not stored and, on the other hand, personal data according to the purpose of processing is protected from unauthorized processing, disposal, destruction, damage and unauthorized access. When protecting and storing personal data, we take into account the risks related to the processing of personal data for the protection of privacy and business, as well as the available technical possibilities and various threat factors.
TrendyPhone’s Service, online store, servers and store information systems have a high level of security and are protected against data breaches and denial-of-service attacks. TrendyPhone takes care of the security of its staff, internal processes and premises in order to protect personal data. TrendyPhone also strives to implement all appropriate procedures to protect personal data and to prevent and detect possible external access to personal data.
Personal data is processed by TrendyPhone’s own trained employees, who have to process personal data in the performance of their duties. The employees are trained to process personal data confidentially, securely and in accordance with current legislation and given instructions and regulations.
Regarding the processing of certain personal data, TrendyPhone uses third parties for the processing of personal data (see above: To whom we disclose personal data). According to TrendyPhone’s best assessment, the partners in question are reliable and their activities are monitored all the time. Written personal data processing agreements have been drawn up with partners, which take into account the requirements of the data protection regulation and other legislation.
Data collected with the Google Analytics service is stored in Google’s Analytics tool. Data from the Google Analytics service is collected anonymously and is not identified to individuals.
